LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "Modern Family" might not be the most obvious choice to be showered with accolades by a religious organization, but the ABC comedy was honored by the Catholics in Media Associates over the weekend anyway.
"Modern Family" - the show known for the gay marriage of Cameron Tucker and Mitchell Pritchett and, more recently, the foul-mouth tirade of child character Lily - received the Television Award at the 2012 CIMA Awards, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunday.
Disgusting.
Vile. This makes me sick!
ReplyDeleteI have Catholic friends/family that watch this show... and I tell them they shouldn't and then they say "oh, it's not bad" "they're making fun of it."
WAKE UP! They are making fun of everything! They are mocking your beliefs. They are presenting a homosexual couple as one of the options for a "Modern Family." It is not OK to live a homosexual life!
And we're giving them an award?!
I've never heard of CIMA, but maybe they should think of renaming themselves. I suggest: Not-So-Catholic Idiots Who Want to be Like Everyone Else (so why put Catholic in your name?) in Media Associates
Exactly. This is all clearly part of a coordinated agenda by the entertainment industry and homosexual lobby to gradually make the gay lifestyle more normal and acceptable, and even hip, to the general public, and they're clearly succeeding in that goal. That a Catholic organization would award this show is truly scandalous. Wake up! is right.
