What does the left see in this guy?! They adulate him and treat him as if he is a success story. They treat him as we treat Reagan. The difference between the two... well for starters, Carter totally flopped as president. He shivered in fear before the Iranians and almost wrecked our economy with his insane, Keynesian-inspired policies. He then lost his bid for reelection in a historic landslide, and we should thank our lucky stars for that. He's done nothing of account for the past couple decades, aside from cozying up to the world's crazies like Fidel Castro, all the while hurdling relentless criticism at the US. If failure is the criteria by which Democrats measure success, I suppose Carter should be their superstar.
This guy is grasping for a legacy and unless the left succeeds in creating one out of the abyss of his own humiliating failures and blunders, he's out of luck.
